自幼隨父親學習大提琴，一九八零年赴巴黎深造後轉赴奧地利 Hochschule für Kunst und Darstellung Graz Expositur Oberschützen 跟隨 Prof. Kitt 學習。畢業於Konservatorium der Stadt Wien，師承Prof. Skosic。現任教於香港教育大學、音樂事務處及香港中文大學，並積極從事音樂演奏。
Cheung Ming-fai started learning cello with his father since young. In 1980, Cheung studied in Paris, then ,moved to Austria and continued his study at Hochschule für Kunst und Darstellung Graz Expositur Oberschützen with Prof. Kitt. He was graduated at Konservatorium der Stadt Wien under Prof. Skosic’s tutelage.
Cheung is an experienced teacher. He is currently teaching cello at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Education University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Music Office.

形式：每星期1堂 (星期四 或 星期日)
個人：每堂60分鐘 (初級至六級可選45分鐘課堂)
Target: no age limit, lesson is adjusted as according to personal goal
Format: 1 lesson per week
Duration: 60 mins per lesson (45 mins per lesson available for beginner level to Grade 3)
Available: Thursdays / Sundays
